Olga Bogomolets was born on March 22, 1966 in Kyiv in a family of doctors. Her mother Kateryna Olehivna Bogomolets is a Professor, Head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy at Bogomolets Kyiv National Medical University. Father - Vadym Akymovych Berezovsky is a Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Head of the Department of Clinical Pathophysiology at Bogomolets Institute of Physiology.

In 1989 she graduated from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute and earned the degree in "General Medicine". From 1989 to 1991 she held residency at Ukrainian State Doctors’ Training Institute.

In 1993 Olga Bogomolets took a course of Environmental Dermatology at Medical University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA), and a year later graduated from Bernard Ackerman Institute of Dermatopathology at Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia, USA, 1994).

After returning home, she founded O. Bogomolets Clinic of Laser Medicine, known today as Dr. Bogomolets Institute of Dermatology and Cosmetology.

In 2001 she graduated from Dragomanov National Pedagogical University.

In 2003 she earned the degree of Doctor of Medicine Sciences specializing in skin and venereal diseases at Bogomolets National Medical University.

Since 2003 until now – Head Physician at Dr. Olga Bogomolets Institute of Dermatology and Cosmetology. From December 2004 to October 2005 was the personal doctor of President Victor Yushchenko.

In 2009 she organized All-Ukrainian health charitable marathon in which 61553 Ukrainian orphans were exemined.

Since 2009 Olga Bogomolets is the organizer and coordinator of the international annual charitable campaign of the European Academy of Dermatology "Euromelanoma – Day of melanoma" in Ukraine.
